I’m Abby, Abigail if I am in trouble.
Constantly going at a mile a minute and crashing hard with naps and Netflix on the weekend.

Welcome to BackatSquareZero.
My blog started out as a way to document my journey towards becoming a fit and healthy distance runner, but it has morphed into so much more.
I have spent the past 13 years of my life teaching others and love helping people learn.
I realized that I wanted to bring my love for teaching and coaching to all of my amazing blog readers out there.
So, my blog is now focused on teaching and coaching my two passions:
– social media/blogging
– running
Abby Headshot 2015-4I have been blessed to leverage myself as a blogger and social media influencer in order to grow my brand (BackatSquareZero), work with amazing companies, and make an extra income from my online presence. I know that many of you are active as bloggers, on social media, or as a small business owners already and I want to help you take what you are already doing to the next level so you can make some cash for the work you are putting in. You know, because (in all honesty) a bit of extra cash never hurt anyone. I will be putting up social media/blogging posts that will give you tips, tricks, and strategies, to grow your online presence. You can also check out the Social Media/Blog Resources section for awesome downloadables such as eBooks, checklists, planners, etc. to keep you on track.

In addition to the social media/blogging awesomeness, I will be bringing you tales of my running and fitness journey, stories of my races, and also information and tips from my perspective as an RRCA Certified Running Coach.  I cannot wait to share with you all the valuable information I have learned.  The ups, the downs, the in between – no sugar coating it here. I will tell you like it is.

I know that running and social media/blogging are two very different areas, but the truth is they are my two passions, the two things I love doing, and the two areas I love coaching/teaching.  Because of that, BackatSquareZero has morphed into a space for Abby the coach/teacher, of both social media/blogging and running, I hope that you will stick around with me on this journey.  Pick and choose what you want to read – just running related posts, just social media/blogging, or swallow it all up, it is up to you.

Why BackatSquareZero?
Because so many times along the way I have felt like I am starting over.
– I move to a brand new city where I know nobody
– an injury knocks me out of running for months
– I gain back all the weight I lost and have to do it again
– time for a brand new job
– an overhaul of the entire blog makes me start fresh
– etc., etc., etc.
… However, the important part is that no matter how many times I am knocked down and start BackatSquareZero I never quit, never give up, never stop pushing forward. (Well except when it is time for that post long run nap.)

Why hire a run coach?
Online coaching is really successful for number of reasons:
– you get a personalized training plan tailored just to you
– your coach works with you to meet your goals
– they help to modify and adjust as needed
– your coach helps you stay organized and on track
– the accountability of knowing someone is checking in on you
– protection from yourself (sometimes as runners we can be stubborn and make bad decisions)
– someone to talk to, your own personal virtual run buddy, and cheerleader
– access to an RRCA certified run coach
– plus, it is way more affordable than one-on-one in person coaching

I am currently working with clients on running plans of all sorts of levels. I coach everyone from first time 5K runners to people looking for half and full marathon PRs, so I know we could create the perfect plan for you.

The plans involve an initial phone call to discuss your goals, current fitness level, workout schedule, running paces, etc. which usually takes 30-45 minutes.

Then I make an individualized plan just for you based on your current levels and your goals, no two plans are alike.

You and I both have access to your plan on a daily basis so we can monitor your progress and adjust as needed. That means just because your plan is made doesn’t mean it is set in stone. You have me there to help you modify and adjust if we need to, like if something comes up and we need to rearrange a few days. This is a great benefit to having a coach.

The plans give you access to me, a certified run coach, and tons of accountability which I find really helps people. I’ll be there for you every step of the way.

8 Week Plan = $110 ($55 a month)
12 Week Plan = $144 ($48 a month)
16 Week Plan = $177 ($44.25 a month)
20 Week Plan = $209 ($41.80 a month)
